Bremerbaai strand
Bremerbaai beach can be reached by bike in approx. 8 minutes. The beautiful newly built beach the Bremerbaai is the swimming beach on the Veluwe lake par excellence with bits of grass and plenty of shade.
At the end of that pier is a watchtower, a kind of grandstand with stairs, facing the water. There are also showers, a toilet block and a beach pavilion on the beach.
From the pier, the foot and bicycle ferry returns from Nunspeet to Bremer Bay, making an ideal connection between the Veluwe and the new land possible.

Oostvaardersplassen
More than 50 years ago, nature in southern Flevoland created this vast swamp area, with reed plains, rugged grasslands, ponds, surrounded by forests. Geese, spoonbills and cormorants quickly found the Oostvaardersplassen, just like deer, foxes, hares, bats and butterflies. And since 2006 even the bald eagle is nesting there.
