On November 29 & 30, 2024! Urk will go back to the period in which it was under the rule of the municipality of Amsterdam for two days. We will look at the years 1660-1710 in which a lot happened on the fishing island. Urk in Wintersferen depicts life with, among other things, old shops, the Urk washerwomen, a school, the doctor's clinic and the living room with homemade 'crêpe leppies'. Experience the Urk of yesteryear!

On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 December 2024, the historic city center of Kampen will once again be dominated by the open-air theater festival 'Christmas in Old Kampen' for two days. A large part of the city center is used as a theater; on stages, on the street, in cozy neighborhoods and alleys and in the shop windows. All sorts of theater companies and the children of the local music school provide spectacular, moving, impressive and humorous performances. They sing, dance and make music. Often by residents of the streets themselves!

On December 13 & 14, 2024, the beautiful, monumental city center of Elburg will go back in time for a weekend. The cozy streets and narrow alleys, the beautifully renovated buildings and facades radiate the atmosphere of a century ago. At one of the many fire baskets you can warm up with a mulled wine, hot chocolate or one of the many other delicacies. The Christmas market has atmospheric stalls with, among other things, beautiful brocante stalls! And of course the children are not forgotten, let them float in the nostalgic swing carousel or take a ride in a real steam train.

 

On Saturday 14 December 2024,  you will get into the Christmas spirit during the cozy Winter Fair at the Maaiveld in Biddinghuizen. Do your Christmas shopping at the cozy fair and have a good look around the car boot sale. Santa Claus will also traditionally pay a visit. For those with a sweet tooth, there is delicious pea juice and hot chocolate.
To top it all off, you can end this day by admiring decorated tractors during the Light Tour in Biddinghuizen.

On Friday 13 and Saturday 14 December 2024, the atmospheric city center of Harderwijk will be the backdrop for a special, theatrical walk. Witness the Christmas story brought to life by over 250 actors, singers, musicians and dancers. Travel through time. Allow yourself to be carried away to the past, through the present and take a look at the future.

On Sunday afternoon, December 15, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Ontmoetingspark Buiten is organizing an atmospheric Christmas market. Visitors can do their Christmas shopping at more than 20 stalls of small, creative entrepreneurs from Dronten and the surrounding area, filled with beautiful, creative and tasty (Christmas) presents. There are also stalls where you can enjoy mulled wine, hot chocolate, freshly baked mini pancakes and delicious soup, and the Christmas divas will come and sing Christmas carols. The animal park is also open to visitors.
